MINOR INFLATABLE REPAIR
To repair small tears using our standard patch kit:
(1) Cut (1) oval or round vinyl patch, approximately 2” larger than the tear.
(2) Clean the patch & area to be repaired using acetone or lacquer thinner & rag.
(3) Apply vinyl cement to the patch & the area to be repaired
(4) Let stand for 2 minutes or until vinyl cement turns hazy/cloudy in color.
(5) Apply patch over the damaged area, press with your palm for 1 minute +.
Allow dry time, preferably 24 hrs. before putting inflatable into use.
To repair large tears using our standard patch kit:
(1) Cut (2) oval or round vinyl patch's, approximately 2” larger than the tear.
(2) Clean the patch's & area's to be repaired using acetone or lacquer thinner & rag.
(3) Apply vinyl cement to the patch & the area to be repaired
(4) Let stand for 2 minutes or until vinyl cement turns hazy/cloudy in color.
(5) Place 1st patch *inside the torn area, press with your palm for 1 minute +
(6) Apply 2nd. patch to the outside surface of the torn area, using the above techniques. Allow dry time, preferably 24 hrs. before putting inflatable into use.
